This season has been a time of transition for us here at YWAM. We recently have purchased a dance studio in Belmopan with an extension in San Ignacio, Cayo. A missionary family who founded the studio, Dramatic Force International, has moved back to the United States in obedience to what they feel God has for them next. Apparently, God had a few things up His sleeve with our relationship with them. We all have felt that it is a new season for the studio and that God is wanting to take it to another level. We are excited and hopeful in being a part of what God is doing through the arts in Belize.
With much vision comes much responsibility so we as YWAM have been working hard in making the transition as smooth as possible for the students and parents involved. This includes communicating with them about who we are, our heart and vision as well as being present for classes, (which run Mondays to Saturdays). We have 30 students in the Belmopan studio and 50 students in San Ignacio. We feel so blessed that an established ministry has fallen into our hands and we now have a tool that we can use to impact students and parents. It is our heart to disciple children and young people in the arts with excellence and worship, and to have the parents see Jesus as their Creator. Please join in prayer with us to see the studio move forward and be and effective witness for Him.
